If you build your mind consciously, you can bend the world to your will.
But most people give up their will for the world
Allowing news, politics, traumatic videos to "hijack" their brain
I say: F that.
Take back your power by building these 8 pages and reviewing 2x daily:
1. Cover Page
This is page one of the mindset folder.
View it as a vision board type of page, but also include images of people who have traits you want to embody.
- Adventurers
- Icons
- Change-makers
Whatever.
2. Victory Jar Page
Most people have a weak mind because they're quick to remember their failures, but slow to remember their successes.
This page changes that by listing out all your Ws to date.
Both big and small - spanning across all areas of your life.
This page will help you remember who you are when you're going through difficult moments.
"If I achieved all this, then surely x is nothing in comparison."
If you think you have no Ws, think again.
You're still breathing.
That's a W in itself.
(Cheesy I know, but true.)
3. Identity Sculpting Page (Internals)
Use this page to define who you want to be and the...
- Values
- Character traits
- Standards
- Internal ways of being
That you want to grow into.
4. Identity Sculpting Page (Externals)
Use this page to define who you want to be and the...
- Impact
- Body language + tonality/speech
- Influence
You want to have on those around you.
5. Personal Creed (Principles)
This is where you source 'insight' from your favorite books and define the principles you want to follow for living your life.
Without principles, you'll be easily swayed and lose all ground to stand on.
Become principled.
6. Intentions Page
This page lists out the main intentions that you're focused on realizing in the next 6 to 12 months.
I believe life should change for the better every 6 months, so I personally like to stick to a 6 month window.
(Remember to write past/present tense)
7. Habits, Daily Schedule, Do-Not-Do List Page
Here you list out the habits, daily schedule, and do-not-do list that you will follow daily to honor your intentions and bring them to life.
8. Obituary/Legacy Page
This one is a bit morbid, but it's important to always keep in mind how the video game of life ends.
By defining how you want to be remembered when your life is over, you can begin to align with that reality now.
"But I don't give a F about legacy" you say. "I'll be dead then, so what's the point?"
By creating your legacy page, you get to actively change how you live Now.
This isn't about being remembered, it's about gaining clarity on what's important to you and what isn't.
Use this page to list out:
- life accomplishments
- adventures you want to experience
- what you prioritized in life
- what others say about you
- impact you had on the world, community, friends, loved ones
And whatever else speaks to you.
Then review 2x daily (morning/night) and slowly, but surely you'll start to align with the contents and bring them to life.
That's all!
