That said, I don’t think it fully solved the problems caused by Brighton’s set-up, although it certainly helped.
Also that tweet of mine that I linked doesn’t highlight the plan - because the idea was to get Gross away from Haaland - but it shows that sometimes things go well even if not exactly as planned. Bernardo would’ve had space behind the defence to run into had he got the ball
