Let's look at the "Overseas Military Bases of India."

India operates certain military bases outside India.These bases offer India the strategic advantage over a geographical area & often established as part of India's diplomatic & defence ties.
⭐BHUTAN:-
👉The Indian Military Training Team (IMTRAT) is based in Western Bhutan’s Haa Dzong.
👉It is an Indian Army training operation in Bhutan.
👉It is the oldest training team sent outside India to a friendly foreign nation.
⭐Iran:-
👉In December 2018, India took over Chabahar Port that is Iran’s sole oceanic port, located on the Gulf of Oman in south-eastern Iran for operations.
👉This is a $600 million memorandum of understanding for Iran to acquire locomotives and freight wagons from India.
⭐Madagascar:-
👉In 2007, India established its first overseas listening station in northern Madagascar.
👉This station is established to detect shipping movements and listen in on marine conversations in the Indian Ocean.
⭐Maldives:-
👉Maldives is under the protection of Indian navy, which keeps an eye on the neighbouring country’s waterways.
👉The Coastal Surveillance Radar station protects against piracy dangers in the waterways.
👉Indian Navy also monitors nation's exclusive economic zones.
⭐Mozambique:-
👉India & Mozambique have a strong military relationship.
👉Indian Navy was in charge of the country’s maritime security During the summit of African Union & World Economic Forum.
👉In 2012, Indian Navy agreed to commence antipiracy patrols in Mozambique Channel
⭐Mauritius:-
👉On North Agalega Island, India is currently constructing a military installation.
👉The island in the Indian Ocean is leased to the Indian military for the development of strategic assets.
👉A coast surveillance radar system deployed and maintained by India.
⭐Nepal:-
👉Nepal has a positive connection with India & in exchange Indian army protects the neighbouring country.
👉In Surkhet IAF maintains an airstrip that protects them against aerial threats
👉India provides armament, hand 2 hand fighting & high-altitude warfare training
⭐Oman:-
👉India has a listening station & berthing privileges at Muscat naval facility.
👉There is also a base for the IAF & Indian Navy at Duqm.
👉Indian Navy has been utilizing Oman's ports bases for conducting anti-piracy operation in the Gulf of Aden.
⭐Qatar:-
👉India signed defense co-operation and security and law enforcement agreements with Qatar in 2008.
👉In which India is committed its military assets to protect Qatar from external threats.
👉It also gives access to Indian Navy to operate in the region.
⭐Seychelles:-
👉India & Seychelles have signed a defense agreement for construction of a naval facility on Assumption Island.
👉Seychelles received $100 M line of credit from India & Dornier aircraft
👉India currently operates a coastal surveillance radar system in Seychelles
⭐Singapore:-
👉India and Singapore signed a bilateral agreement that allows Indian Navy ships logistical support, including refuelling, at Singapore’s Changi naval base.
⭐Tajikistan:-
👉Farkhor Air Base is in Tajikistan is run jointly by IAF & Tajik Air Force. It is India’s first foreign military facility.
👉Ayni Air Force Base is jointly operated by IAF & Tajik Air Force. Since 2014 India has deployed Su-30MKI in limited numbers at this base.
⭐Vietnam:-
👉Both nations maintain a strong military relationship.
👉Vietnam has invited India for its naval presence in the South China Sea through access to the Cam Ranh Bay naval and air base.
