I’ve marketed and sold damn near everything under the sun, physical products, digital products, services, you name it, and created hundreds of thousands of dollars of revenue for my companies or companies I’ve done work for

1. YOU NEED THE RIGHT MARKET
a) Specificity
You need to have a specific INDIVIDUAL target in mind that you are speaking to - ONE PERSON. Who are they, stalk them, find out how they speak, figure out all of their thought processes. need to know them better than you know you
b) STARVING, IN PAIN, HAS MONEY
If you tried to sell fitness to 19 year olds - most don’t care (probably in decent shape) and they most cases couldn't even afford a premium service
HOWEVER, the 36 year old Fortune 500 CFO who’s wife may leave...
...if he doesn’t get more energetic and vibrant for his family (which is attached to his health) - he NEEDS your offer, he's in PAIN, starving for it and has the $$ to put into it
c) how sophisticated are they?
In 2016 it was easy to sell FB ads. now, much harder...
they’ve tried it, and are way more immune to promises made in marketing. Make sure your claims are in tune with the amount of bullshit people are hearing
In a nut shell, more bullshit needs bigger, more specific promises and more social proof/unique mechanisms -
d) Awareness level
And lastly, you need to make sure you are in tune with their awareness level (word to my schlime eugene schwartz)
Do they know they have a problem?
If they know they have a problem, do they know if there is a solution?
If they know there is a solution, do they know about your solution?
If they know about your solution, what else do they need to cross the hump?
A HUGE problem I see many marketers making (I’ve made it many times) is focusing on the bottom two, too much
If you can educate the market on their PROBLEMS they don’t know they have and potential solutions, you will CREATE demand and print money from the sky
Imagine if Birkey water filters was actively pushing GOOD content about the dangers of fluoride/chemicals in tap water... brrrrr
2. GRABBING ATTENTION
Headlines, Hooks, Thumbnails/Creatives
Everyone’s attention span is dropping. Meaning you need to get creative in the first 3 seconds with your headlines, hooks, and creatives to make sure people HAVE to at the least click and see WTF ur talmbout
This is IMPERATIVE that you focus a lot of energy on this - doesn’t matter how good your marketing is if no one fucking reads it
Look at youtube thumbnails, old direct response newsletters, tik tok creators who are blowing up to get a feel for this

3. YOU NEED TO SOLVE A BIG PROBLEM
EVERY PROBLEM YOU ARE SOLVING IS RELATED TO STATUS OR TRANSFORMATION of IDENTITY
The best way to find the *BIG* problem in my opinion… is to look for the LONG TERM problem that the problem of the problem creates…
Your problem isn’t weight loss… it isn’t the problem weight loss creates (insecurity).... It is the long term problem that the insecurity of being overweight CAUSES… not being able to find a partner and have the family that prospect desperately wants. (for example)
Or look at @KillCrew_
They don’t sell the problem of needing quality, dope apparel to train in.
They sell the problem behind that problem, not feeling confident and apart of something bigger.

4. STORYTELLING
Or storyselling as you can call it…
If you can tell STORIES, throughout your marketing, what this does is
a) give context and logical flow to your marketing
b) make the writing itself more personal, engaging
& DEMONSTRATE that
c) you have been through the transformation your product or service will create
d) that you UNDERSTAND the problem of the problem of the problem
All four of these points create TRUST.
As once upon a time, @Splittestingcom said to a young Logan (very early in his marketing career, a young pup) is that if a marketing action does not INCREASE TRUST, then it must be stopped immediately.
This is unbelievably true. (Notice the subtle story? 🥂😉)
5. BIG IDEA 
S/o to David Ogilvy, one of the OG marketers.
you need to market and sell a BIG IDEA.
If your core marketing message doesn’t get you all kinds of riled up, genuinely excited, it is NOT A BIG ENOUGH IDEA.
best big idea I can think of is Russell Brunson’s for Clickfunnels.
“JUST ONE FUNNEL AWAY”
Holy shit. If I just make one GREAT marketing funnel, I can get rich and fulfill all my dreams?
I NEED a funnel. what does Clickfunnels do? helps you build them! It’s genius
Great  Big Ideas CREATE DEMAND in the marketplace. Start creating your own demand.
ALWAYS ALWAYS market with a big idea... so that you can pair it with...
6. A GOOD OFFER
What is a good offer, you ask?
an Offer 10x more valuable than the price, so it’s easier for the prospect to say yes than it is for them to say no.

MAXIMIZE Dream Outcome & Perceived Likelihood of Achievement
MINIMIZE the Time Delay and Effort/Sacrifice
“I will help you create an automated email sequence that will make you an extra 10k a month in under 30 days with only 3 hours of work from you or your money back… I’ve done this with 38 digital creators this year, here are some of those results.”
That's a solid offer example
7. Unique Sales Propositions (POSITIONING, MECHANISMS)
What do you have that no one else does? What are your unfair advantages?
You need to position yourself in a category of ONE (no one can compete).
by combining ideas. I do this by 220/jacked + athletic + autoimmune
& your mechanism that drives results to have some UNIQUE way that it provides better results than anything else on the market
Best example of this I’ve seen is from one of my old bosses/mentors, @kneeovertoesguy who "renamed" every exercise he uses into the ATG system
8. BIG PROMISE
GIVE A GUARANTEE.
The reality is, people just don’t want to get burned. And there’s a lot of weasel scammers out there (especially now). Guarantee their success or their money back. MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM TO SAY NO
and then actually do a fucking good job on the fulfillment/product side so this is actually true. (too many marketers miss this, and lose out on the best form of FREE marketing - genuine word of mouth and a good reputation)

9. SOCIAL PROOF 
The @blackhatwizardd masterclass. He has one of the best selling courses of ALL time (that actually got people tons of results) and then literally could show you THOUSANDS of people that got results
HAVE AN OVERWHELMING BURDEN OF PROOF YOUR SHIT WORKS.
Ideally coming DIRECTLY from people who have used your product. (testimonials with peoples face in it, screenshots directly from social media posts they made, etc)
Not you posting “quotes” on your landing page - people can “feel” that this is probably bullshit.
