The "not so much spoken about" fact about traders on social media is that almost ALL come from a place where even if they didn't make a dime for the rest of their life, they would still lead a very comfortable life

Either because they come from wealth, or have diversified into enough assets that give fixed income to cover expenses
When someone blindly looks from the outside, they might falsely assume that "full time traders" actually pull out profits for day to day expenses, this is almost

Never the case, almost always they either have rentals from real-estate or salary/dividends from an alternate business which is more predictable in returns
This is the core part of where the "Confidence" and "Risk appetite" comes from, knowing you are always safe from ruin

This is not a jab at anyone, this is just as applicable to me on every level
Just pointing out to those who are relatively new that one shouldn't get carried away by how someone else plays the game, because we're not all playing from the same vantage point
