Boost your coding productivity 10x by using these 6 powerful life hacks ⬇️ (🧵)
1) Design before you implement 📝
Coding without first mapping out the problem and the logical avenues for producing the solution is a common mistake.
Always make maps, outlines, flow charts, & diagrams.
During the process, jot down any remarks or thoughts that spring to mind
2. Be creative while you're in the zone ✨
The best result is usually delivered from the state of flow that you're in.
Being "in the zone" refers to doing something while fully immersed in a sensation of energised focus, full involvement, & enjoyment.
3. Procrastinating isn't that bad 🤷🏻‍♂️
You'll come to a dead-end at some point, and there's no way to avoid it. So, instead of self-loathing & continuing working when you're clearly not up to it, postpone.
After some rest, sit down & try to approach from a different angle.
4. Set targets for yourself 🔥
‍Procrastination can be caused by repeating chores or having too much work. As a result, you should set up a competition for yourself.
Make up some rules or set some goals to make it feel like you're playing a game - & make a huge deal out of it!
5. Think logically 🤔
Your time is valuable, working "a lot" isn't necessarily something to brag about, because you'll lose out if you give the same amount of product as someone who spends less time on it.
6. Have more of the "Aha" moments! ⚡️
When you have tried really hard to solve a problem yet you can't, get up and take a walk. Or talk to that friend who was angry that you cut his call because you were coding.
8 times out of 10, you will end up solving the problem.
