Seems like #nupursharma has been provoking peaceful “customers” since 1400 years.
A c.1594 Miniature painting showing Ali bεhεαding Nadr ibn al-harith at the command of Profet of “Peace”for his alleged blasphemy of challenging Him.
#Thread
Once upon a time there was an Arab Pagan physician named Nadr ibn al-harith. He belonged to the famous Quraysh Tribe which controlled Mεcca & were the custodian of the sacred pagan shrine Kααβa until ofcrs it was captured by u-know-who.
& what was his fault?
The poor guy went to Persia & heard the local stories there. When he came back to Makkah & heard the prορηετ of (ahem ahem) “peace” passing the same stories as some revelation from the divine, he called out the blatant plagiarism.
From Tafsir ibn kathir
But how dare he caught out the sheer plagiarism of most perfect man ever born (peace be upon him)? Did he expose him? Ofcourse he deserved punishment. Isnt it?
Time for divine revelation.
Ρπθρhετ ordered his cousin cυm son in law Ali to bεhεαd Nadr for blαsphemy.
Next time whenever someone says gruesome blοοδ curling bεhεαding has nothing to do with the religion of peace do share this story with them.
Painting 1 : The painting is from volume 4 of a copy of Mustafa al-Darir’s Siyar-i-Nabi - an Ottoman Turkish epic on the life of Muhammad.
