India’s first woman private investigator Rajani Pandit has played different roles to solve many crime mysteries. – that of a maidservant, a blind woman, a pregnant woman, a street vendor, etc. She does whatever it takes to solve a case.
According to Humans of Bombay's post, Rajani Pandit revealed her toughest case story. She said, “My toughest case was gathering proof for a murder investigation” where both the son and husband were killed and there was no proof.
Rajani went undercover as a maid & lived with the woman who was suspected of being the murderer.
“Then one day, the hitman who she hired, came to pay her a visit. That’s when I knew it was my chance. So I cut my foot with knife & told them that I had to go out to get bandaged.

I ran out, went to an STD booth and called the client to come home with the police. They were both arrested that day!” she recalls.
Rajani Pandit never married because she does not want to choose between her marriage and job.
