⚔️ When news reached Rajkumar Hamveer Malladev that the village of Ranisagar on the outskirts of Vishnupur had been attacked, and the Karrani army were advancing, Prince Hamveer Malladev immediately assembled his warriors and set out to respond to the invasion.

⚔️ Veer Hamveer Malladev took the heads of his decapitated enemies, made a garland with them and presented it as an offering to his Kuladevi. The location of the battle came to be known as Mundamala Ghat, meaning 'Skull (or severed head) Garland Pass'.
