Bengal vs Bihar
1. In 1946 when over 10,000 Hindus were massacred in the Kolkata Killings, the retaliation wasn't given by Bengal but Bihar. A few Hindus (like Gopal Patha) fought jehadi mobs heroically but in general the Hindus of Kolkata offered little organized retaliation.

2. In response to the Kolkata Killings, it was the Biharis who retaliated with devastating force and exacted a terrible toll on the jehadis.
3. In the latest violence, there was hardly any violence in Bihar. In Patna, Hindu processions pass through Muslim majority areas following decades old routes. There is no stone pelting because they know the consequences. "We are ready for counter violence," says a journalist.
4. Jharkhand, which was once part of Bihar, also treated the rioters with swift police action, shooting dead the most violent jehadis. Hence, the state didn't spiral into an orgy of rioting as happened in Bengal.
5. In Bengal, the jehadis brought the state to a standstill with violence and arson. Not a single Hindu group seems to have retaliated. The jehadis knew this weakness and they unleashed mob violence with complete freedom and arrogance.
6. Over the decades, Bihar has preempted jehadi trouble. In many places in the state where illegal Bangladeshi immigrants set up slums, the locals evicted them by scorched earth policy.
7. In Patna, a large Bangladeshi slum had come up in a forest near a lake. The local residents burnt down the forest, forcing the Bangladeshis to leave Bihar and return to Bengal where they no doubt found succour, refuge and ration cards.
8. In Bengal, over a period of 30 years, the communists settled literally millions of Bangladeshi Muslims. Ration cards where given immediately upon arrival in Kolkata or the border districts.
9. Hindus didn't object because the left leaning Hindus of Bengal are pally with the Muslim Bengali rather than the Hindus of rest of India. The only parallel to this is the secular Kerala Hindu who has a one-sided love affair with his Christian and Muslim neighbours.
10. In 2002, when I was at Hindustan Times, the Kolkata Marxists hired a Muslim Bengali named Zia and promoted him like he was the next Goenka Award winner. He was probably an illegal immigrant or at least his parents were.
11. The thing is this guy was the quietest, meekest guy you could imagine. But 20 years later his writings indicate a clearly radicalised mindset. I'm sure, he and his Kolkata Marxist friends sit around and mock Indians, Hindus and Brahmins while having cha and jhal muri.
12. Leftist Hindus are responsible for the mess that Bengal is in today. Having turned the state into a wasteland for industry, they have moved into cities across India from where they continue to peddle their anti Hindu ideology.
13. By allowing unprecedented illegal immigration from Bangladesh, they have created the conditions necessary for a Sharia state. Many places in Bengal are no-go zones for Hindus. Durga Puja, which even the most diehard atheist in Bengal cherishes, is now banned in such areas.
14. Meanwhile, the Bihari doesn't pretend to be intellectual. In every home in Bihar the men are ready to fight back if needed. They know only counter violence can stop violence.
