Metis has a $100m DAC (more on DACs later) to support projects on its ecosystem.
They have millions in funding from VCs like Genblock n Master Ventures. I know, VC dumps, but the tokenomics are so good that I'm not worried. More on this later.

The CEO is @ElenaCryptoChic, in #crypto since 2014 an co-founder of @crypto_chicks along with Natalia.

The tokenomics are the best I have seen in a long time, if not ever.
Early investors such as VCs control only 15.5% of the supply. Which is lower than most projects I've seen.
The team has taken only 7%. Most teams take 15%-20%.

The great news is that most investor tokens have already been fully distributed.
Seed investors are the only ones left, they have 1% of the total supply and have already received half of it.
Essentially, there are no VCs left to dump.

In crypto, most projects aren't truly decentralised, they just claim to be.
Metis' goal is for TRUE decentralisation. The team are the founders but not the ultimate leaders.
They'll use their own DAC tech to decentralise Metis eventually.

While METIS does have money to keep building I am unsure how big their war chest actually is.
I would assume they are okay given the team's deep pockets and their backers, but you never know.

DACs are one of Metis' main selling points. This means if DACs do not take off, Metis will struggle.
Personally, I see a demand for DACs but I have been wrong in the past.
This one needs close monitoring to see if DACs are utilised in coming years.

Metis is my top layer 2 pick. From the team to the tech it's an amazing project and I believe it will pump next bull run, so I'm accumulating.
