لم تقل مديرة صندوق النقد على الإطلاق أن الاقتصاد المصري يتدهور، ولكنها ذكرت أن الظروف المحيطة بالاقتصاد المصري تزداد سوءاً مع ارتفاع أسعار الغذاء والوقود والحرب في أوكرانيا وهو ما دفع الحكومة لاتخاذ إجراءات لضمان الاستقرار المالي واستكمال نجاح المرحلة الأولى من الإصلاح!
