Why India must not give free aid to Sri Lanka.

2. Six Chetak helicopters from the 104th Helicopter Squadron followed with arms and ammunition. The squadron logged 573 flying hours on as many as 1,122 sorties in Sri Lanka. 150 Indian Gorkhas secured the Sri Lanka Air Force base of Katunayake.
3. The Indian Navy deployed 3 frigates, INS Ganga, INS Gomti and INS Godavari, setting up a naval cordon around Sri Lanka. Multiple North Korean supply vessels were captured by the Indian Navy.
4. How did Sri Lanka repay India? 6 months later, India and Pakistan were at war. When India banned overflights on its territory for aircraft flying between West and East Pakistan, Sri Lanka allowed Pakistani aircraft to land on its airports en route to East Pakistan (Bangladesh)
5. Hundreds of Pakistani aircraft used the island nation to equip its forces in East Pakistan. Pakistan was able airlift tens of thousands of troops, who committed the worst atrocities since World War II.
6. The Buddhist Sinhala elites hate India. They hate Tamils most because Indian Tamil kingdoms have beaten Sinhalas throughout history. It was the weakening of Tamil kingdoms in the modern era that allowed Sinhalas to recapture the island and impose fascist Sinhala rule.
7. Unlike the warlike Tamils, the Sinhalas are poor fighters. LTTE, TELO, PLOTE, ERPLF etc thrashed the Sri Lankan army. LTTE even built a mini air force which bombed Colombo and shut down the airport for several days. Incredibly, they also built submarines that attacked SL Navy.
8. These humiliations led to the Sinhalas seeking Pakistani military help. This led to a sharp increase in Islamic jehad in Sri Lanka. What were they thinking? Sri Lanka also allowed thousands of Pakistani Ahmadiyyas to settle in Sri Lanka.
9. These were not mere blunders; the aim was to snub India. In the 1970s, the Sri Lankan govt allowed the CIA to build a powerful radio broadcasting station in Trincomalee. This really pissed Indira Gandhi who decided to teach the Lankans a lesson by helping the LTTE.
10. India must not give free aid to the Lankans. Each barrel of oil and every grain of cereal must be tied to special privileges for India. Sri Lanka must never again allow Pakistan or China to use its territory against India. If they don't agree, let them starve.
