@rrachakonda1 @AnishA_Moonka 1. DFC will move 3X to 4x stuff at better speed between Key cities.
2. Logistic parks will be along New highways and New DFC corridor
3. Faster Highways will mean a truck will be able to play faster.
4. Big and heavy trucks wont be allow in any city

So hub and Spoke model will emerge. trucks will ply highway to highway and with in city transfer will happen via smaller vehicles.
Imagine Mumbai Nagpur kolkatta which takes 48 hours today for truck may take 24 hours in 3 years from Now. Truck will be able to deliver more

With reduction in Coal and Fuel transportation over next 1-2 decade, more and more capacity will be available for Goods transportation via Rails.
in next 10 -20 Years (DFC plan of 2040), the Mumbai to Cochin, Kolkatta to chennai and Mumabai to kolkatta DFC will also come

@rrachakonda1 @AnishA_Moonka 4/N on top of it Urbanization will create more Cities across highways..
so i think, even with GDP growth of 6-8% + More demand for white goods and cars and vehicles, the usage of trucks will get impacted.
With in City CV vehicles potentially will boom

Consolidation will happen because bigger player will be able to do demand aggregation (Truck transporter). They will gain more efficiency per truck for similar amount of freight movement.

@rrachakonda1 @AnishA_Moonka The entire trucking industry suffers from dead km ( how to fill the truck while coming back )
Dfc will not have that kind of problem
Demand aggregation will happen at ports and logistic parks

@rrachakonda1 @AnishA_Moonka DFC and better highway alone will save 45-50% of diesel dependence for frieght mvmtn in a decade
criss cross of highway will reduce distance by 30-40% in time
Example: chandigarh to jaipur starting this summers will be 100 km lesser route and 4-5 hour faster for truck.
