Preface: this is not me flexing, these are numbers drops in the bucket to what other big dogs are doing. This is just me documenting my journey and sharing along the way.
Step 1: Finding the product.
I found this specific product using Dropispy.com but you can just look up these hashtags on TT to find products for free
#tiktokmademebuyit #amazonmusthaves #amazonfinds
You’ll find something good with just those alone

The product I found was a very broad product that was already selling in South America on FB/IG. Since it was already selling on another channel and christmas was approaching I didn’t waste any time.
Step 2: Building the store
before building the store I went on tiktok to see if any one was already selling it, to my luck no one was. I then built a very simple website using Shopify and the debut theme for free. all which took about 3 hours give or take.

Step 3: Marketing
The way I chose to market the product was using TT ads. Using this method requires around $500-1000 (imo) but with everyone and there moms going viral on Tiktok, ordering the product and filming TT’s is the most cost effective way to get sales for FREE.

Since I chose to run paid ads on the product, I looked on YouTube and TT for videos of people using the product and just chopped up the videos using canva (also free). Once I finished that I set up my ad campaign
The campaign set up was also very simple.
-3 ad groups at $50 each
-2 ad groups with broad targeting 18+
- and the 3rd ad group was targeting women over 24+
*Side note you can test using $20 in each ad group but since the ad platform is auction based

It pushes out the ad’s to more people the more you spend, makes sense right. When just getting started make sure you don’t get attach to a product, if you’re not seeing any results..add to carts, initiated checkouts, conversions, etc. move on, test more products.
After the first day of testing I broke even after the second day I became profitable and by day 3 I had reached my first 1k day. But like all good things it came to end after running the product for a little over a month my ads were being stolen by competitors

PayPal held my money and it went downhill from there (don’t use PayPal), w this being my first time actually scaling this big that fast I was not prepared. That taught me a lot about having the proper systems in place

Having these are mandatory when scaling
- having a reliable supplier
- customer support
- steady stream of content to test
- good payment processing
having these makes growing the business much less of a headache.

I was able to run up the store to about 50k in revenue with really good profit margins. My biggest take always after running the store was to keep momentum. Keeping my mf foot on the gas, I thought I was hot shit when everything was “working” and got complacent.

Always be a student of the game. If I had the proper systems I could of probably took the store to a 100k in less then 2 months. Oh well back to work.
