1. Intersectional View of the Hijab Controversy
Hijab, as my very existence proves, is the ultimate expression of freedom. It doesn’t need logic as logic is a patriarchal tool to fool rationally marginalized people. Hijab is beyond logic.

#HijabAurKitab
2. The enemies of freedom – Brahmins, men, & Hindus in general – are seeing the Hijab controversy in an inverted way. They are using logical props by giving constitutional, secular and democratic arguments. The truth is the other way around.
#BrahmanicalPatriarchy
3. Democracy cannot judge Hijab. Hijab will judge democracy. Hijab is a symbol of freedom if Muslim women use it. It needs no other logic. No toxic rationalization. The very act of Muslim women wearing Hijab proves that Hijab means freedom.
4. Muslim women cannot do anything wrong, except when they are in conflict with Muslim men. In that case Muslim men take priority, and contrary to what patriarchal logic would have you believe there is nothing more feminist than this.
5. Hijab is a symbol of absolute equality. It is the greatest equalizer of all. It makes everyone look and feel same. By eliminating all differences of size, shape, skin color, color of clothes, it makes everyone equal. It is heaven on earth.
6. Hijab is a crusade against body shaming. The West has been trying to stop body shaming by educating men. But we all know men can never be educated. By eliminating the need to make men tolerant, Hijab makes all bodies equal. Body positivity goal achieved.
7. Hijab is a fight against racism. The world has been fighting against racism to no avail. Hijab eliminates all need to tolerate color difference by eliminating color from public life. An African woman in Hijab is equal to a Scandinavian woman in Hijab. Racism solved.
8. Hijab is also gender neutral. This might shock you but it is the truth. This one needs a little more considered thought. The world has been trying to educate men to tolerate all other 62 genders to no avail. We all know how masculinity is toxic.
9. Hijab leaves the only toxic gender outside its pale – the toxic cis-male. All other 62 genders including women can hide behind the black pale of Hijab and have all sorts of fun behind the black pale. Is there anything more liberating?
10. Hijab is a challenge to ageism. By painting every woman in the same color of tolerance – black – Hijab eliminates all kinds of age differences. An 18 years old girl looks the same as an 80 years old spinster. Hijab is a cure of ageism.
11. The enemies of Hijab – mainly Hindus – do it because they oppress women by making them wear jewelry. I mean, how ugly is that mangalasutra? How horrible the bindi looks. How abominable the bangles are.
12. Is there something more oppressive than a red dress or a red saree? It is a direct attempt at shaming women by making them wear the color of their menstruating blood.
13. The Brahmanical patriarchy wants these women in public sphere for controlling them. The Brahmins want the women to drive, to dress up, to go to the malls unattended, to wear jewelry, make-up etc. Can there be a more oppressive life for women?
14. Oppose the Brahmanical patriarchal ploy to make ‘women free’. The greatest freedom is to be found inside a Hijab, inside a Burqa. The freedom which the poet Kamala Das once achieved by converting to Islam. Long live Hijab! Death to Brahmanical patriarchy.
@ARanganathan72 Before you speak more on the Hijab controversy here is an intersectional take on it by none other than me. Be educated Ranga.
Be educated @rahulroushan and stop lying on Hijab.
