So today #OPEC+ met for their 23rd ministerial meeting and decided on continuing their strategy of increasing 400k 🛢/d the following month in this case January 2022.
That pleased the white because they “coordinated” it with OPEC plus as the White House spokesperson stated…

However, this decision was proposed back in July during the 19th #OPEC+ ministerial meeting 🧐
And the #WhiteHouse certainly had no “coordination” with either #Saudi or OPEC plus producers!!

Well, a month ago when #OPEC+ decided to stick with its plan “of only gradually increasing oil output by 400k 🛢/d” which is exactly what they decided today & some considered it “defying US pressure” while the #WhiteHouse said that OPEC “risks imperiling economic recovery” !! 🧐
How about two months ago, same thing #OPEC+ plus stick to their gradual 400K 🛢/d monthly increase and the #WhiteHouse are not happy about it!!
And it was the same situation back in September!

In short, #OPEC+ leadership stuck to their plans and were criticized by the #WhiteHouse for months.
Today, the WhiteHouse appreciated and welcomed the SAME decision OPEC+ made the past four months because they are under some illusion they coordinated it this time 😏 #OOTT
