EPIC DECCANI NAVY ILLUSTRATION 👑
Adilshahi Royal Poet Malik-E-Shor Mullah Nusrati from Bijapur wrote Gulshan-E-Ishq based on a Hindu Love folk-story.
The aesthetics for illustrated manuscripts made in Hyderabad came from local Hindu aristocrats, i.e. Maratha Kshatriya Sardars.
Three fantastical Epic paintings show the Hindu Kshatriya protagonists' Naval fleet get surrounded and swallowed by a giant Sea Serpent, 1743 CE.
The protagonists' and ships' design inspirations obviously came from contemporary Maratha Sar-I-Khel Angre Shankhapala Navy designs.
In this painting one, where the Sea Serpent coils around the Deccani Navy Fleet, we can clearly see two Maratha navymen wearing the shell-pink Imperial Maratha Navy Sar-I-Khel Angre Sankpal Laccha Turbans on the either ends of the main vessel.
