Worst way of storing NFTs' is to store it on a centralized server such as AWS or any hosting service.
Why ? Your data is basically at the mercy of the NFT creator & the hosting platform.
You could lose your NFTs image and metadata at any time.

But #CronosPunk we are #cronos guys, I don't want to loose my NFT !
And you're right unfortunately many projects in the space still use an API hosted on a centralized server.
E.g : cropunks.art
@PUNKSONCRONOS could delete at any moment your NFT metadata. ngmi.

One best way to do it is the way we do it.
We store on @IPFS, a decentralized storage protocol.
Thanks to @pinatacloud & nft.storage we can easily store them for ever and even if we die (I hope not lol) and we can't pay for any hosting platform anymore.

Another more and more popular protocol is @ArweaveTeam and I think @CronosChimpClub are using it.

It stores your metadata forever on a blockchain made for it.
Anyway, to end this thread I'd say always DYOR.
Be aware of such things as how is my NFT stored ? Can it disappear at any time ?
