What is MBP?
'Vicilin-like 8S-globulin' - protein isolate of mung or moong bean (Vigna radiata L.) (VP 0536)
A functional ingredient that is edible.
For consumers a whole food is entirely different.
As beans are beans this is no half baked bean or substitute for an egg.

MBP Vicilin 8S is no magicians nutraceutical. The mung bean as a whole *may* have dietary health benefits but as a protein isolate the magic has been stripped away. Like separating & discarding the yolk from the white, The golden egg is lost by fraction to an albumin powder.
It would be disengenous for the dilettante at ACNFP not to mention MBPP's primary intention to completely substitute egg. But
replacing proteins by substitution *will* put consumers at a nutritional disadvantage.

If Just Egg's fraudulent ersatz product passes ACNFP without an ordered condition of NOT using the word 'egg', or variations of, in any publicly visible form (labels, marketing, web) then FSA has failed us.
