I just served my last day in TradFi —
Next week, I officially begin my journey with the @hashed_official team! 🥳🎉🍾
Some takeaways for those who just discovered crypto / are looking to break into the space 👇

Some takeaways for those who just discovered crypto / are looking to break into the space 👇
A thread 🧵
1/ Get your hands dirty with protocols on different blockchains. You are only as knowledgeable as the user on the ground.
Interact with DApps on all chains; DEXes, lending/borrowing, yield aggregators, wallets, etc. - so you get an idea of how they differ from users' POV.

2/ This gives you insight into what separates leading protocols from forks that are copy-pasta.
The result of this is being able to detect innovative projects early on (in terms of PMF, tokenomics, UI/UX), and building high conviction in sizing up on those trades.

3/ Participate in beta tests if you have the opportunity to do so.
Interacting with devs help you understand project teething problems, grow your network, build future collaborations.
Worry not about what's in store for you; retro airdrops are a bonus, but learning is lifelong.

4/ Community, Tribe, Gang.
Working with a group is so important in this space. I have a core group of IRL friends I trust and bounce ideas with. Other anon gangs I've found homage in - debating investment theses and apeing into memecoins.
Crypto's all about having fun together.

5/ Share alpha even if it may dilute your yields.
Nothing feels better than pulling an all-nighter with friends to dig for a contract address for a stealth launch project, and apeing hard when found.

6/ Find a sense of belonging.
This is more about structuring your CT persona and content to align with your expertise.
It's not easy like @Daryllautk said, but you will find it easier if you leverage your strengths to contribute to the community.

7/ It could be writing summaries, creating videos, coding, sharing degen strategies, excel...
Show the community you want to value-add and it won't go unnoticed. My piece below started off as discussions on CT, never knew I'd end up with a research piece.

8/ Listen to podcasts or read if you prefer long-form content.
This space moves so fast that you need to keep educating yourself.
My go-tos:
- @PodcastDelphi, @ProfitMaxmalist (guestshows)
- @TerraBitesPod (all things Terra)
- @TheDecryptDaily (roundups)
- UCC w/ @hasufl

9/ Make a to-do list of things for the week.
You have multiple farms to check on a daily basis. But there's also research you want to do for that next fundamental trade. How about initiatives on Discord and governance proposals?
Crypto is chaotic, staying organised will help.

Starting crypto full-time with @hashed_official is more than I could ask for, and I want to thank @baekkyoumkim @seojoonkim @ethankim77 @ryankim0x @iamjosephyoung for taking a chance on me.
The team are incredibly smart and hustles hard, so am looking forward to the challenge!
