1. In 1737, Bhai Mani Singh and his family were killed by the Mughals for celebrating Diwali at Harmandir Sahib. Singh was killed limb by limb, starting with his fingertips. His infant children were speared in front of his family.
2. Their bodies were displayed outside the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore. You can guess what the Mughals did to the women. This was the fate of those who celebrated Diwali - 30 years AFTER Aurangzeb's death. Yes, 30 years after the tyrant died, intolerance was still alive and kicking.
3. The Mughals were never ever secular. The fake 'Ganga Jumna Tahzeeb' is an invention of 20th historians who wanted to whitewash the crimes of the Mughal and Sultanate eras.
