1. Malishka Mendonza of Red FM is a sexual predator. Nothing less. My Facebook inbox has numerous cringey messages from Lutyens journalists. One offered "anything you want" if I wrote a 2,000 word article for her. "And I mean anything," she made it clear.

2. A week later she said, "Wanna meet?" I said, "Not a good idea considering what you messaged." She laughed, "I was just joking. Have written the story myself." I said, "Sorry, don't have the time."
3. Not used to hearing no for an answer and in all likelihood having slept her way into middle management, she said, "Let's go on a road trip to Rajasthan. No pressure, we'll take it from there." I said, "I don't even know you, how can I go on a trip with you."
4. The journalist was getting impatient. "Look, I've spoken to a friend of mine. He's from Delhi and owns several hotels across Rajasthan. He'll make sure we are well looked after. We just have to drive. Come on, trust me, we'll see some amazing places."
5. At this point this was beginning to look like a Tinder trap for gullible men. Being a journalist I have known about countless such cases. I asked, "Assuming for a second that this is not a kidnap plan, just curious about who you think is paying for the car, hotels, expenses?"
6. Lutyens female, without wasting a second, replied, "You. Duh." I laughed out loud for several minutes until I got cramps in my tummy. She said, "Grow up. Show some balls. If you earn, learn to spend."
7. I said, "Look, this is really looking like an amateurish kidnap plan to me." She replied, "If I wanted to, why would I kidnap a journalist, why not a businessman?" She then yelled some nonsense and hung up.
8. Two days later, at midnight she called: "I'm at home all alone. Forget what we discussed earlier. Just come and spend the night with me. No woman will make such an offer, but I need you. Don't make me beg further."
9. I said, "Thank you, it sounds flattering, but my first rule of life is, life and honour are too valuable to Dharma to be risked for something that I can buy for $300 per hour back in New Zealand."
10. She hung up, yelling that I was a misogynist and had no respect for women. That despite all my writing on nation and Dharma I was "a hypocrite like all men". That I didn't deserve the affection of "a classy Lutyens educated woman".
11. She was just the most unhinged. There were others who wanted to just have a cup of coffee "and let's go from there". When you refuse, they get angry and send you pics of anatomy to disgust you. This is an phenomenon that is not talked about - men getting sexually harassed.
12. It is disturbing and leaves scars. You feel scared, violated and helpless. Some of these women are well connected and can potentially file a sexual harassment case out of spite.
13. Luckily I can dig through old messages and retrieve the chats to prove their guilt. But that will be after cops pick you up and throw you in the lockup. By then your name is in tatters. Job also gone perhaps.
14. More men are in jail due to fake sexual harassment cases than there are real dowry cases. Some men have been in prison for years. Some committed suicide.
15. People like Mendonsa normalise sexual harassment by women. It is certainly not okay to do vulgar dances and ask a man for a kiss. Imagine if Sudhir Chaudhry did it to PV Sindhu. Librandus would come out onto the streets and call for his head. Double standards must end.

Clarification: I have never paid for sex. Just illustrating the point that you could be trapped for going after something that is sold in market. Having said that, I don't judge people who sell sex or those who pay for it. Sex workers are more useful to society than presstitutes.
Worst part of being harassed by women is nobody takes you seriously. Your friends laugh: "Kismat wale ho. Wish someone would do that to us." Female judge I confided in said: "Consider yourself lucky at your age young women are stalking you." They dont know how crazy stalkers are.
