Qatar is the most sinister force in Somali politics. It sponsors Al Shabab terrorism & fuels @M_Farmaajo’s unabashed belligerence. Thanks to @US2SOMALIA policy of strategic silence, Qatar has been given a free rein to do as it pleases.
As @M_Farmaajo’s most prolific enabler, Qatar must be held accountable. The road to containing @M_Farmaajo lies in Qatar, but that’s not a road international partners are willing to take — to Somalia’s detriment. Worse, the opposition have remained mum to Qatari aggressions.
