The narrative, the agenda that Saudi Arabia is this horrible place where Americans are not safe. Where I should be scared because I would be kidnap if I dare go into the country, if I dare speak and not cover. This was all lies, and I proved that point when I went to Saudi Arabia
In December 2019. This wasn't a paid trip, I ended up meeting friends, their families, their daughters and you know what they where all happy. I looked around at everyone, I watched the women talk to each, I didn't see women with no freedom, I noticed women out talking
To each other, on their phones, each with their own personality & yes I didn't cover my hair, no one said a word to me, they didn't give me dirty looks. I personally think it was like wow an American woman is here more than anything. What I did receive was unbelievable
