Robert Lewandowski: "I am at one of the best clubs in the world, I know I can be happy here. What we have is of a very high level, from the squad to the facilities. Everything is easier playing for a club like this." [Sport]
Ronaldo and Ramos approached you after a game against Real and said, "You have to play with us." Is that right?
Lewandowski: "Yes. You can go to the Spanish League or to any other country, another great club, but for me it is not the most important thing"
Lewandowski: "I have been able to reach my maximum level where I am now. And I still want to continue doing well."
Lewandowski: "I spend the game wanting the ball. If I scored a goal, I want another. If I have 3, I must score the fourth. Sometimes teammates say to me, "Don't you realize that we have another game in 2 or 3 days?" But for me, if you love scoring goals, it's never enough."
Lewandowski: "The perfect 9 should be able to score with his left, his right, with his head, with everything. You need everything and you have to be prepared for any situation"
Lewandowski: "Many times, you don't have time to think about whether you're going to hit the ball with the right or the left. You cannot think. You must act by intuition. Sometimes after the goal I think 'wow! I didn't know I could do something like that! '
Lewandowski: "When I was six years old I remember Roberto Baggio, because of his time at the World Cup, I loved how he played. Then, between 10 and 14, it was Alessandro del Piero"
Lewandowski: "Later my favorite player was Thierry Henry, an incredible footballer. Not only for his scoring ability, but also for what he did for the team. I remember the day I met him, it was a shock. Wow! It's my childhood idol! And now he wants my shirt!. Dreams can come true
Lewandowski: "My dream was to play in the big stadiums with 80k, 90k fans. When I was young, in my country, we didn't have top players, so I looked at the best players in the world & thought, 'OK, I'm from Poland, from Warsaw, but why can't Polish players come to be the best?"
Lewandowski: All I did was for love of the ball and for love of football. When I was little I didn't have a PlayStation or computers, and I spent the whole day in my garden or in a park. Now that no longer happens, boys and girls have many more options to entertain themselves."
Lewandowski: "My dream was always to become a footballer. It was up to me to choose what I constantly wanted to do. Sometimes my friends went to a party and I had training the next day, so I had to choose. And I chose to rest. For every young player, this is the choice."
Lewandowski: "I will always be grateful to my parents. The parents of my school mates asked them 'why do you do it? You lose two hours each way, twelve to fifteen hours a week, how crazy is that. ' And my parents always said that my dream was to be successful in football."
