Europe must understand that hypocritical policies, interference in internal affairs and supporting terrorism are what made Europe influence in the Middle East erodes in favor of the US, even Iran will come to US influence. EU will not be able to do anything important.
You can see that the European discourse is still in the Cold War era and has not evolved to match data of the twenty-first century.
The United States, which is the greatest power, has realized that the geopolitical situation in the region and the world has changed, and it deals with Saudi Arabia with respect because it knows that Saudi Arabia is a reliable ally and would never subject to extortion.
