An interesting study revealed that when atheists dare God to do terrible things to them, they become emotionally distressed the same way religious people would.
What does this mean? Let’s take a look

The study concluded that, despite atheists claiming they aren’t distressed by such statements (since they believe God doesn’t exist), their affective, biological response was equivalent (in fact higher) than religious individuals
2
Furthermore, daring an entity such as Santa Claus rather than God led to lower levels of arousal, suggesting atheists (despite disbelieving in God the same way they’d disbelieve in Santa Claus), were affected by God specifically

This study, like many others, supports the leading theory that religiosity and belief are implicit in man, natural, and default. In the Quran, Allah swt says:
“This is the natural disposition God instilled in mankind...” [30:30]
4
The term for this is the Fitrah, and more and more studies are showing this is implicitly a part of us. We inherently believe in God’s existence, even if people try to verbally or mentally deny that

This is why the word Kaffir means someone who covers (buries over) the truth, when internally they recognize its legitimacy
So dont fall for the certainty atheists claim to have. They’re confused and internally torn, though they won’t admit it, until studies show us the truth.
